  Got ahold of them to come out to help us with getting our wolf dog in the house before the hurricane hit. They said if we don't call back within an hour to call back. Hour and a half went by, called them over 20 times (not exaggerating) and they would not pick up the phone. I don't understand how they even have three stars. They are the worst animal control ever!! Why call yourself animal control if you don't want to take a phone call about animals!! I do not recommend calling them for any help with animals!!

  I adopted a mixed-breed puppy here . The staff was friendly and professional, did all they could to inform me of the particular traits of the puppy. That included food agression and high-energy behavior. I still adopted it and now 3 years later I couldn't be happier with my choice. It was a handful to raise and train but has repaid us many times as a watchdog and lovable companion! If you want to get a dog, don't buy one at the fleamarket or in a petshop. You never know what you're going to get. These puppy mill puppies are overbred and often come with health problems. PCAC's animals have all been examined by a veterinarian for soundness. A voucher worth $80 was given to me for the adoption fee to reimburse at a participating veterinarian for neutering or spaying. it was done so first thing. My adoptee sweet dog is still very healthy.
